Dzogchen Ranyak Patrul Rinpoche Dear students!I would like to take this opportunity to offer my regards to you, which is coming from the centre of my heart. I hope your superior activities of the dharma are going well, especially in improving your Sampa Sangpo of compassion. And also, sure, your understanding of Authentic Dharma is increasing and also wisdom is becoming sharper. Through your development of compassion and wisdom you understand the reality of relative and the reality of ultimate, and also suchness and manyness. Here, with me, everything is going well. A few months ago I was in Japan. We studied "The Words of My Perfect Teacher". The organization and course were so good. Weather was also very good. Afterwards I went to China and Tibet. In Tibet our projects, the Zangdok Palri Temple and the school, are going very well. I stayed there 3-4 days. Then I came back to Belgium. Now I have became very lazy, doing almost nothing, sleeping, drinking alcohol and eating, and sometimes I am going to hot spring, to many different shoe shops to find permanent shoes. But I could not find. Still I am searching. Can you find permanent shoes and fearless shoes for me? |

Letter by Patrul Rinpoche: The Fifth Day of the Drupchen In those extracts from an interview recorded on the 24th of Augustus 2008, Rinpoche explains the benefits of the Drupchen of Guru Rinpoche.
Prayers for World Peace Drubchen of Guru Rinpoche The Drupchen of Guru Rinpoche was a magnificent success and our precious teacher Patrul Rinpoche says that this excellent experience was due to the power of the student’s wishes. Tibet Dzogchen Drupchen Rinpoche explained that “In Dzogchen monastery, when we make Drupchen, the fifth day is a very important day. We call that day the bumdrup”. Rinpoche told us that as a sign of blessings a special siddhi, which is real amrita, comes from the torma’s called the DrupTor”. |

Welcome to the Wisdom Treasury website!
First, I would like to take this opportunity to say welcome and that we are very happy to show you the things we are doing practically and culturally. We've made this website to introduce the Wisdom Treasury to you.
The Wisdom Treasury is connected to two activities; practical and cultural. These two activities have a lot of value in human society because practical activity allows us to look after ourselves but if we only use this activity it's not really sufficient. We need cultural activity too.
Cultural activity is very important because when we start any kind of cultural activity we use our own intelligence to analyse what benefits beings or not. Then, we use our true intelligence to discover different cultural activities. Some of them are very useful for beings and some of them we aren't sure about. Anyway, for example, after the Buddhist Master, Padmasambhava, came to Tibet our culture changed. After that it became a Buddhist culture. When our culture connected with the Buddha's teachings it became more important and valuable. |

The Four Noble Truths are ‘the crucial point of the eighty-four thousand teachings, the starting point of the ocean of truthful teachings, the general outline, or summary, of all the sutras and tantras’.
They are ‘the foundation of all paths, the general outline of all vehicles and the great path of superior individuals. So, it is crucially important for our practice of the Dharma, whether it be according to the instructions of the sutras or of the tantras, that our knowledge of the meaning of the four truths be perfect.’ − The True Words of The Great Rishi Written in the style of a root text, The Words of The Great Rishi is not at first sight an easy read. It requires diligent effort and a willingness to become familiar with precise terms and concepts. Formulated with great care and attention for those who approach its wisdom, it proves, on further inspection, to be a reference text of great incisiveness, acumen and brevity. Just like a detailed map, it is a constant source of new and unexpected discoveries which present clear gridlines that illuminate both the internal resonance and the contextual reference of the Four Noble Truths, a subject, often overlooked as only for beginners, which is integral to the full realisation of innate Buddha nature, and the study of which brings enormous benefit to all levels of that quest. |
