Written by Patrul Rinpoche

In this extract, Rinpoche explains us the link between 'motivation' and the practise of pure perception.  This extract comes from a conference held in Louvain the 29th of march 2007 and entitled "To what does have one to think when one practises Dzogchen? "

Student question: Rinpoche la, could you explain a little bit about motivation and pure perception? You said that in Dzogchen it is important to have pure perception. You also said that motivation is very important. How are the two connected? Can one be practiced without the other?

Rinpoche's answer:

This Drubchenbecome very beneficent for all sentient beings, who was killed by the aggressive emotion of others, and also who was dead not naturally, not peacefully.
