"What should we do, if we want to accomplish the happiness of sentient beings  who are as infinite as space itself? Generally speaking, there is no one who wants to suffer rather than be happy. For the sake of happiness we are busy day and night, but even so, it is very difficult for us to find it. We do not want to suffer and we wonder how we can get rid of it, but we do not know how to go about it. That is why all sorts of things that we do not want have spontaneously occurred, and why they go on occurring.

Not only that, but since beginningless time we have been wandering around in samsara suffering. In the present moment we are still wandering in suffering, and in the future we will continue to wander in suffering.

That is how you wander in samsara. It would be good if we could be free from suffering, but when we look into it, we find that we cannot get away from it no matter where we are born in samsara.

All sentient beings are of one mind in wanting to be free from suffering. When we relax and look into it, we realise that we go through incredible suffering to achieve even a modicum of temporal happiness, but the result of our efforts is nothing but suffering."
