The Wisdom Treasury is connected to two activities; practical and cultural. These two activities have a lot of value in human society because practical activity allows us to look after ourselves but if we only use this activity it's not really sufficient. We need cultural activity too.

Cultural activity is very important because when we start any kind of cultural activity we use our own intelligence to analyse what benefits beings or not. Then, we use our true intelligence to discover different cultural activities. Some of them are very useful for beings and some of them we aren't sure about. Anyway, for example, after the Buddhist Master, Padmasambhava, came to Tibet our culture changed. After that it became a Buddhist culture. When our culture connected with the Buddha's teachings it became more important and valuable. 

Therefore, the publishers of the Wisdom Treasury would like to take care of important cultural activity and to exchange beneficial things between East and West. We would also like to share our understanding of important practical and cultural activities with each other.

We have a very strong wish that we can co-operate together on this project so that it will become beneficial for all beings.
